My Story

I’ve spent the last 13+ years of my life in tech. 10+ years of that are in Salesforce, including ~7 yrs as an End User, SME, UAT Tester, plus Salesforce Champion, and ~3yrs as a Success Guide and Core Coach. I spent 8 years in Digital Advertising, 7 years in the Entertainment Industry, I’ve been an Interim Project Manager 3x, and have had extensive partnerships with Product/Dev teams, working on Agile SDLC Methodologies and Product Roadmapping. I also have 3+ years in Talent Development, Onboarding, and Coaching others to become their best selves. At the end of the day, I care about making an impact, having the ability to grow, and helping others grow along the way.

That’s a lot of numbers!

My latest venture has been with (Salesforce), coaching others how to present virtually to C-level executives and developers alike, but most importantly - how they can do it well. I’ve also been fortunate to help individuals find their passions and develop their career trajectory.

In my spare time, I volunteered for the Salesforce Pathfinder Program, and was a Mentor, Interviewer, and Case Coach. For the past two years, I’ve also been the Case Coach to the Pathfinder Demo Day Team Finalists, and in 2021, was the Coach for the winners of the Salesforce Pathfinder Case Competition!

At Yahoo, I partnered with our UX/UI, Product, Design, and Dev teams to help design and build new internal tools. I covered for multiple Project Managers while on sabbatical and had been chosen as one of three Subject Matter Experts in charge of Takeovers that ran on Yahoo, AOL, and MSN Homepages.

All-in-all, I have been fortunate to work with some amazing clients. At Salesforce, I’ve worked with a range of companies from non-profits, State Depts, Universities, Hospitals, and Fortune 100 businesses. At Yahoo, I specialized in the entertainment and top-tier verticals, including Hulu, NBC, Turbo Tax, Pro Flowers, Disney, Paramount, and Universal Pictures.

I spent the first 18 years of my life in a small town 19 miles north of Spokane, Washington.  After falling deeply in love with Portland, I made the big move to Oregon in 2007, and haven't looked back since.

I graduated from Portland State University's School of Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Advertising Management in 2013, and started the next chapter of my life on the vendor side of advertising.

Combining my rural roots and my adoration for cities big and small, I have a discerning approach and the unique ability to see both sides of the fence. I believe balance and strategy are the ultimate power couple in nearly everything in life.

As for prior advertising experience, I started as an intern at FIR Advertising,  which gave me the opportunity to work on a variety of accounts, including OHSU's Biomedical Informatics Program, Viridian Window Restoration, and PSU Vikings.  I was fortunate to be one of the ten chosen to intern with Portland Advertising Federation's 2013 COLABORATORY Program, and learned so much from that experience. I am thankful to have worked so closely with mentors from a variety of different agencies. From iSite Design (now Connective DX), Smith, Grady Britton, and Obility, I gained insight into what makes each agency unique, and what is at the heart of each one; the people.

When I find myself with free time, I spend it playing with my pup, bump-set-spiking on my Underdog Volleyball league, or dancing my booty off in a hip-hop class. I hold a special place in my heart for Australian Red Licorice and an expertly pulled shot of espresso.

Ultimately, I hope to utilize my fresh approach and passion to enrich people’s lives.
